Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ kg apples, tart
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups cream each 00 ml
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • some lemon zest
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 375 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • Butter for the sheet

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 60 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. Peel apples, cut into wedges and mix with lemon juice.
  2. Whip the cream with sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon zest until half-stiff. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix in the flour and baking powder. Brush the tray with butter. Spread the dough evenly on top and cover with the apple wedges.
  3. Put the top / bottom heat in the hot oven at 200 ° C and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, bring the butter, sugar and milk to the boil and mix in the almonds. Then spread on the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
