Ingredients
For the dough:
- 750 g flour
- 350 grams sugar
- 1 large egg (s)
- 450 g butter
- 1 pinch (s) salt
For the filling:
- 1 ½ kg apples
- some lemon juice
- 600 g cream
- 100 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 5 egg (s)
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
- Icing sugar for dusting

- For the dough, knead all the ingredients to make crumbles. Brush a drip pan (the deep tray from the oven) with butter and flour or line it with baking paper. Spread two thirds of the crumble on the drip pan and press firmly.
- For the filling, peel, quarter and slice the apples or slice and mix with a little lemon juice. Then distribute evenly on the dough.
- Whisk the cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and cinnamon with the hand mixer for about a minute.
- Distribute the icing evenly over the apples. Spread the remaining crumble on top and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for about 50 minutes on the middle shelf.
- Sprinkle with the powdered sugar and serve.
