Ingredients

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 150 g butter
  • 125 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 50 g powdered suar
  • 50 g jam (red currant jam)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Grind half of the walnuts.
  2. Knead the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, salt, butter in flakes and the ground nuts into a smooth dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator.
  3. Chop the remaining walnuts, mix with the marzipan, powdered sugar, cocoa and the jam to a smooth mass.
  4. Take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll out and cut out circles (diameter approx. 7 cm). Put a teaspoon of marzipan filling on each circle, press two sides upwards together.
  5. Bake at 170 ° C on the middle rack for 12-14 minutes.
