White Fish Ceviche

Ceviche is a fish or seafood dish, whose homeland is Peru. The original ceviche recipe consists of finely chopped raw fish of various types, marinated in lime juice for 15 minutes. Due to the citric acid content in lime juice, the proteins contained in the fish are denatured.

Ingredients

  • 300 g tilapia
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 hot pepper
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Juice with 3 lemon

Directions

  1. Slice the tilapia thinly, put it in a side dish, then fill it with lemon juice so that it covers the fish.
  2. We remove the marinated fish in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
  3. We take the fish out of the refrigerator, drain the liquid, transfer it to another dish. Add tomatoes, onions, hot peppers, cilantro, salt.
