Ingredients

  • 800 potato (s), waxy
  • some oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, whole
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric, (turmeric powder)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ Garam Masala or Chaat Masala
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into large cubes. Heat the oil in a shallow pan and fry the garlic, ginger and cumin seeds. Then add the potatoes and spices, mix well and fry until they are crispy.
