Ingredients

  • 2 cup rice (long grain rice)
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped vegetable broth, grained
  • 2 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 1 large red pepper (s)
  • 1 cup peas, frozen
  • 0.5 ½ cup raisins
  • 1 can cashew nuts
  • 1 small Can / s pineapple
  • 1 bottle curry sauce
  • Lemon juice
  • Pineapple juice
  • Cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the rice with water, curry, paprika and granulated broth in a saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes. Then put the lid on, turn off the stove and let the rice soak in the residual heat. When it is done and has soaked up all the water, remove it from the heat, pour it into a large bowl and let it cool down.
  2. Cut the spring onions into fine rings, dice the paprika and pineapple and add to the rice. Also add defrosted peas, nuts and raisins. Pour the curry sauce over it and mix everything well. Season to taste with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and pineapple juice.
  3. The salad tastes particularly good when it is a bit pulled through.
