Bread Cake with Sour Cream and Pineapple (no Baked Goods)

No-bake cakes are delicious and easy to prepare desserts. Dry biscuits, marshmallows, gingerbread are usually used as a basis for such cakes. In this case, we take a regular white loaf, cut into cubes, and spread it in a slide, sandwiching with pieces of canned pineapple, which give a pleasant sweet and sour note, and tender sour cream! An interesting lazy version of the famous Pancho cake.

Ingredients

Canned pineapples – 280 g
Sour cream 20% fat – 200 g + 2 tbsp for decoration
White loaf – 120 g
Powdered sugar – 50 g
Milk chocolate – 30 g
Fresh mint for garnish (optional) – 1 sprig

Directions

Cut the white loaf into slices. Cut the crusts off the slices. Cut the pulp into cubes.
The preferred size of the cubes is approximately 1.5×1.5 cm.
Pour icing sugar into sour cream and stir.
Cut the pineapple rings into cubes.
Cover a salad bowl or a suitable form with cling film. The edges of the film must remain free.
Put some cream on the bottom of the salad bowl (1.5 tablespoons).
Spread out a layer of bread cubes.
Apply a layer of cream to the bread.
Layer a layer of sliced pineapples.
Grease a layer of pineapple with cream.
Then layout a layer of loaf cubes again. Try to stack the bread tightly.
Apply a generous layer of cream.
Put pineapples in the next layer, which again grease with cream.
The finishing layer should be from a loaf.
Place the remaining sour cream on a layer of bread cubes.
Cover the cake with the free edges of cling film and seal slightly with your hands. Place the soaking cake in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight.
In the morning, open the plastic wrap, cover the cake with a flat plate and turn it over.
Remove the film from the cake, apply sour cream (2 tablespoons) and evenly cover the top and sides of the cake with it.
For the icing, place the chocolate in a small plastic bag.
Place the bag in hot water to melt the chocolate.
Then cut off a small corner of the bag and apply the melted chocolate to the cake.
