Ingredients

  • some oil for frying
  • 0.5 kg ½ minced meat
  • 1 red pepper (s), diced
  • 0.25 stick ¼ leek, cut into rings
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s), red, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, cut (not pressed)
  • some chilli, fresh or dried
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed, drained or corn
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 200 ml sweet cream or cremefine
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cumin, dose carefully, very dominant!
  • 2 pinches salt and pepper from the mill
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 packet lamb`s lettuce
  • 1 packet feta cheese or Balkan cheese
  • 1 package wrap (s) or Dürüm

Instructions

  1. Preheat a saucepan and add some oil. Then add the minced meat and fry. Meanwhile, cut the other ingredients (peppers, onions, garlic and leeks). Then add these and fry together with the minced meat. Stirring occasionally.
  2. When the minced meat is done, add the washed beans (if you don`t like them, you can also use corn), as well as tomato paste, chilli and curry. Continue frying everything for a moment and then deglaze with the cream. Mix this well with the minced meat and tomato paste. Then let the mixture boil down a little at low temperature.
  3. During this time, cut the feta cheese (or crumble it - it`s a matter of taste) and heat the wraps or Dürüm in the microwave for a few seconds. Then place one on a plate and place some lamb`s lettuce in the middle and then some feta cheese. It is best to leave about 5 cm free on one side.
  4. Now turn off the stove and season the sauce with salt, pepper, oregano and cumin. Then add some of this mixture to the feta cheese with a teaspoon.
  5. Fold the remaining space inwards and fold down the left and right sides so that you get a handy burrito. Tip: If you prefer it smaller, you can simply leave space on both sides and then cut the burritos in the middle.
