Chicken Breast Stewed With Bell Pepper in Sour Cream and Garlic Sauce

Delicate chicken breast, stewed in a white sauce, turns out to be very juicy, saturated with the aromas of bell pepper and garlic. In addition, it will take a minimum of time to prepare it.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 500 g (2 pcs.)
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 100 g (1 pc.)
  • Bulb onions – 100 g (1 pc.)
  • Sour cream – 250 g
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Seasoning for chicken – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. We wash the chicken fillet, dry and cut into thin cubes.
  3. Peel the onion, rinse and cut into thin half rings.
  4. Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stalks, rinse and cut into thin strips.
  5. Put the onion and bell pepper in a frying pan preheated with vegetable oil and fry over medium heat until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Then put the chicken fillet in a pan and fry, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press or rub it on a fine grater. In a bowl, combine sour cream, garlic, chicken seasoning, salt. Mix well.
  8. Pour chicken fillet with pepper with sour cream-garlic sauce.
  9. Reduce the heat and simmer the contents of the pan under a closed lid over low heat for 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked. Then turn off the heat and leave the dish under the closed lid for about 10 minutes.
  10. Chicken breast, stewed with bell pepper, in sour cream and garlic sauce, ready.
  11. You can serve the dish with any side dish, for example, it will be very tasty with rice.
