Chicken in Ginger Sauce

Ginger sauce is very tasty and unusual. This sauce goes especially well with chicken. The result is an excellent second course, suitable for both lunch and dinner. You can cook buckwheat as a side dish.

Servings: 3-4

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 400 Grams
  • Ginger Root – To taste (7 cm)
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Tomato – 1 Piece
  • Apple cider vinegar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Tomato paste – 1 Teaspoon
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Vegetable oil – To taste

Directions

  1. Cut the ginger root very thinly, then fill it with cold water for 15 minutes. We drain the water later.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes.
  3. Fry the chicken in vegetable oil until golden brown for about 7-8 minutes.
  4. Fry ginger with chopped onion and garlic in a frying pan containing meat. Cooking for 5-6 minutes.
  5. In a blender, combine the chopped tomato, vinegar, sugar and tomato paste.
  6. Pour the resulting sauce into the pan, cook for another 3 minutes.
  7. Add chicken, stir. Remove from heat after a few minutes.
  8. The finished dish is served with a side dish: for example, buckwheat or rice.
