Chicken, Like on Kebabs

I offer you a recipe for a marinade for chicken legs. This is what we did when we were still very young and went to a barbecue. It can be grilled or in the oven.

Cook: 1 hour

Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • Chicken (legs) – 5 pcs.
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 7 pcs.
  • Rosemary – 5 sprigs
  • Sage – 5 leaves
  • Cumin – 5 branches
  • Mayonnaise – 200 ml
  • Adjika liquid – to taste
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken legs into two parts along the joint. Wash thoroughly, dry with a paper towel.
  2. Chop the onion coarsely enough.
  3. Put the chicken and onion in a bag. Add mayonnaise and liquid adjika there (I have a homemade one). Shake the bag to mix everything up.
  4. We also add sage, cumin and rosemary.
  5. We close the bag and leave everything to marinate overnight. It is convenient to take the ready-made chicken in the package with you, no extra pots are needed.
  6. Unfortunately, the weather turned bad and I cooked the chicken in the oven. Put the potatoes, cut into medium cubes, on a baking sheet.
  7. We also put the chicken with onions and marinade there. We distribute evenly.
  8. Place in oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, until browned.
  9. After 20 minutes, turn the legs and potatoes over. Add some salt to the potatoes. We continue to bake the chicken for another 20-30 minutes.
