Ingredients

  • 150 grams flour
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon water, cold
  • 48 Confectionery (Toffifee)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 160 g suar, old tinsel for decoratin

Instructions

  1. For the dough, knead the first five ingredients with 1 tablespoon of cold water. Wrap in foil and let rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  2. Roll out the dough between foil and cut out small circles that are slightly larger than a toffifee (chocolate side). Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Place one Toffifee with the curve facing up in the middle of a circle.
  3. Beat the egg whites with lemon juice until stiff. Let the sugar trickle in slowly. Pour the mixture into a piping bag with a small perforated nozzle and squirt around the toffifee, so that a heap is formed and a small tip is pulled up. Sprinkle with some gold tinsel.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven (top / bottom heat 150 ° C, gas: level 1, convection 130 ° C) for approx. 15 - 20 minutes, allow to cool.
  5. You can leave out the gold tinsel, but it looks very nice.
