Grilled Mozzarella Burgers

Cutlets for such burgers are made from ground beef and turkey, and cutlets are grilled with mozzarella cheese.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Whole grain burger buns – 6 pcs.
  • Minced beef – 450 g
  • Minced turkey – 230 g
  • Mozzarella cheese (cut into thin slices) – 60 g
  • Basil tomato sauce – 0.75 cups
  • Dried oregano – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried basil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Fennel, seeds (crumbled) – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Garlic powder – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Turn on the grill to preheat. Grease the wire rack with vegetable oil.
  2. Mix the whole minced meat with oregano, basil, salt, fennel, and garlic powder.
  3. Divide the minced meat into 6 equal portions, form round cutlets 1.5 cm thick.
  4. Place patties on the grill rack, fry for about 5 minutes, turn over, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Put the mozzarella slices on the cutlets and fry for another 3-5 minutes, until tender.
  6. Cut the buns in half, put the slices on a wire rack, fry for about 1 minute.
  7. Put one cutlet on each half-base of the bun, pour 2 tablespoon on top. spoons of sauce. Cover with topped halves and serve immediately.
