- 1 medium onion (s)
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (crema di)
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli flakes (e.g. hot black)
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
- pepper
- 0.5 tablespoon ½ oil (thistle)
- possibly sugar
- 1 small clove garlic, if you like
