Homemade Gingerbread

Not a single gingerbread bought in a store can be compared with the most delicious and fragrant gingerbread made with your own hands !!! Today we will do homemade cakes !!!

Ingredients

  • Kefir – 1 Glass
  • Sugar – 1.5 Cups (1 – in the dough, 0.5 for the glaze)
  • Vegetable oil – 1 Glass
  • Flour – 6 Glasses
  • Cocoa powder – 1
  • Egg – 1 Piece (yolk – in the dough, white – in the glaze)
  • Soda – 1 Teaspoon (quenched with vinegar)

Directions

  1. Pour kefir into a deep bowl, add a glass of butter and sugar, mix. Pour in cocoa, add vinegar slaked soda and egg yolk, mix everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.
  2. Now we gradually add flour and knead a thick and elastic dough.
  3. We form small balls from the prepared dough, put them on a greased baking sheet.
  4. We put a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake the gingerbread for 35-45 minutes. Well, in the meantime, we will prepare the glaze: beat the egg white until a thick foam forms, add half a glass of sugar, continue to beat.
  5. We spread the finished gingerbread cookies in a saucepan or deep bowl, and put the prepared icing on top.
  6. Stir and wait until the glaze is completely frozen. Now gingerbread can be served to the table.
