Ingredients

  • 1 lime (s), which the zest, grated
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 200 ml heavy cream, whipped until stiff

  • 150 g nouat (nut nouat)
  • 200 ml heavy cream, whipped until stiff

Instructions

  1. For the lime layer, beat the eggs, lime zest, sugar and rum in the food processor for at least 10 minutes. Fold in the first 200 ml of whipped cream.
  2. Pour the mixture into 6 molds so that they are half full and place the molds in the freezer.
  3. For the nougat layer, beat the eggs with the rum over the water bath until frothy, while melting the nougat.
  4. Mix the whipped egg yolks with the nougat and beat until cold. Fold in the next 200 ml of whipped cream and pour into the molds on top of the lime layer.
  5. Let the whole thing freeze for about 4 hours.
  6. For example, a dark chocolate sauce or practically all kinds of fruit sauces or fruit purees go well with it.
