- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 2 egg (s)
- 5 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoon herbs, mixed
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1 pinch (s) pepper
- water
- 12 potato (s)
- 500 g beans (French beans)
- 20 g butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons sunflower oil
- 8 basil leaves
- 4 pinches herbs
- 4 pinches salt

- Mix the minced meat with the egg, salt and pepper, garlic, breadcrumbs and 2 tablespoons herbs (to taste) and knead. Then set aside.
- Peel and wash the potatoes. Wash the green beans as well, remove the ends and cut into pieces approx. 5 cm long. Fill a pot each for the potatoes and green beans with water so that they are covered. Put 2 bay leaves and 1 teaspoon oil and 1 teaspoon salt in each pot.
- Now cook the potatoes for 20 minutes, cook the green beans for about 8 minutes. Cook so that the potatoes and beans are ready at about the same time.
- In the meantime, shape the prepared minced meat into meatballs and fry them over a moderate heat. When the green beans are done, put them in another saucepan, in which the butter and sugar have melted, and glaze for another 5 minutes over a moderate heat. Stir occasionally.
- When everything is done, serve the ingredients. Add a little salt to the potatoes and sprinkle with a few herbs and pour the butter melted in sugar over the beans, depending on your taste. Finally, place the basil leaves on the meatballs.
