Ingredients
- 125 g mararine
- 125 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 3 egg (s)
- 200 g flour
- 2 teaspoons, leveled baking powder
- some aroma (lemon aroma), a few drops
- some milk, possibly
- 5 apples, tart ones
- Fat for the shape
- Breadcrumbs for the mold
- Icing sugar for sprinkling
- possibly cinnamon
- Possibly apricot jam to brush on

- Mix the margarine with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the eggs and continue to stir until frothy. Add a few drops of lemon flavor, add flour and baking powder while stirring.
- Continue stirring until the dough is supple, if it is too thick, add a little milk if necessary. Put the dough in a greased springform pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
- Peel, core and quarter the apples, lightly score the apple quarters lengthways with a knife and place on the dough. Press in slightly. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170 ° C for 35 - 40 minutes. Preferably on the bottom rail so that it doesn`t get too dark.
- Then let it cool down and dust with powdered sugar if you like. It also tastes very tasty with a little cinnamon or when coated with some liquid apricot jam. Or as a dessert with a little whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- This apple pie has been baked like this in our family for ages and is so popular because it is so quick to prepare and it always works.
