Melon Mousse

Melon mousse is a flavorful summer treat.

Ingredients

  • Melon – 500 g
  • Sugar – 2-3 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Citric acid – on the tip of a knife
  • Gelatin – 20 g
  • Water – 0.5-0.75 cups

Directions

  1. To prepare the melon mousse, first, dissolve the gelatin in a little water, put the dishes with the gelatin in a bowl of hot water so that it “blooms” completely.
  2. Peel the melon, cut it into pieces.
  3. Purée with a blender. Add vanilla, citric acid, and sugar.
  4. Pour the gelatin into the melon puree.
  5. Beat with a mixer for 10 minutes. Pour the melon mousse into a mold and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
