  • 1 pack strudel sheets
  • 200 g minced beef
  • 200 g spinach leaves, (frozen)
  • 1 shallot (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoon sour cream
  • pepper
  • salt
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • rosemary
  • olive oil
  • sesame

Minced Beef and Spinach Strudel with Feta

Instructions

  1. Thaw the spinach leaves, squeeze out and pour off the liquid.
  2. Dice the shallot and chop the garlic. Stew in a pan with a little olive oil until translucent. Add the ground beef, fry, then add the thawed spinach and fry briefly. Take the pan off the stove. Stir in the sour cream. Now season the filling with spices and herbs.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
  4. Dice the feta.
  5. Brush the strudel pastry sheets with olive oil, then spread the minced meat and spinach filling on top. Put the feta cheese lengthways in the middle and roll up the strudel.
  6. Brush the top of the strudel again with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes.
