Ingredients

  • 450 g spinach leaves (frozen), chopped
  • 275 g puff pastry (frozen)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoon olives, black
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • some water or egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • chili
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. First let the puff pastry and spinach thaw. Squeeze the water out of the spinach leaves.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  3. Peel and finely chop the onion and clove of garlic. Add the olive oil, onion and garlic cubes to the spinach and mix together. Then season with pepper, salt, chilli and cayenne pepper.
  4. Unpack the puff pastry and spread the tomato paste in the middle. Chop the olives and spread them on the tomato paste, then pour the spinach mixture over them. Divide the feta cheese into pieces and pour over the spinach, then pour over the pepper and salt again. Now one side of the puff pastry is coated with water or egg yolk. First we lay the other side on top and then lay the coated side over it so that there is adhesion - if necessary, press the short sides with a fork. Brush a bit of water or egg yolk on top and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  5. Put in the hot oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Fresh salad is also very tasty.
  7. Tip: Is also great to add to or change with various other things, e.g. tomatoes, mushrooms, Gorgonzola, gratin cheese.
