Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat (turkey)
  • 100 g bacon, finely diced
  • 50 g porcini mushrooms, dried
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 cup cream, sour cream or crème fraiche
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 small Glass white wine
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, instant
  • 1 cup water (large cup), warm, to soak

Minced Turkey with South Tyrolean Bacon and Porcini Mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried porcini mushrooms for about 1 hour in warm water (according to the instructions on the packet).
  2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  3. Toast the finely diced bacon in a pan with a little olive oil. Gradually add the minced meat, the finely diced onion and the garlic and fry. Deglaze with a small glass of white wine and leave to cook for about 15 minutes with the lid closed.
  4. Meanwhile cook the noodles al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
  5. Put the soaked mushrooms in a sieve and mix the soaking stock (approx. 1 large cup) with the tomato paste and vegetable stock. Add the mushrooms and this stock to the pan. Then add the cream and continue cooking over a low heat until the pasta is ready.
  6. Arrange on plates and serve hot.
