Ingredients

  • 600 g pike (fillets)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 100 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g cheese, rated (Emmentaler)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • Flour for breading
  • Worcester sauce

Instructions

  1. Wash pike fillets and pat dry, drizzle with lemon juice and Worcester sauce, season with salt and pepper. Mix together the grated cheese and eggs.
  2. First turn the pike fillets in the flour and then in the egg and cheese mixture. Fry both sides in approx. 100 g butter until golden brown and serve immediately.
  3. This goes well with wild rice and a delicious vegetable.
  4. Tip: Also works with any other fish fillet.
