Poached Egg (Breakfast in 3 Minutes)

Poached egg for breakfast, no vinegar added when cooking. Prepares in just 3 minutes. It tastes like an ordinary egg with a liquid yolk, but with an unusual serving. The eggs are boiled in salted water, then served on a piece of bread. Finished eggs do not need to be shelled, which is a nice plus. Happy cooking!

Ingredients

  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Water – 2 l
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Bread (for serving) – 1 slice

Directions

  1. Break the egg into a small container.
  2. Heat water in a saucepan, add salt (for 2 liters of water, I add 1 teaspoon. Salt). Reduce heat so that there is no strong boil.
  3. Make a funnel in water, stirring with a spoon, and lower the egg in the middle.
  4. Boil a poached egg for 3 minutes.
  5. Protein particles will separate a little, but that’s okay. The egg will collect.
  6. We take out the finished egg with liquid yolk from the water. Serve a poached egg on a piece of bread.
  7. It’s so easy and quick to make breakfast.
