Ingredients

  • 75 g lentils, red
  • 400 ml chicken broth, or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon, leveled tomato paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder or curry paste, more if you like
  • 1 teaspoon harissa
  • 1 pinch (s) chilli flakes
  • 1 bunch coriander greens, chopped
  • 2 salmon fillet (s), approx. 130 g each
  • Oil (peanut), or sunflower oil
  • some harissa
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the first 7 ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until the lentils are soft. Stir in the coriander greens.
  2. Rub the salmon with oil, salt and pepper, curry powder and harissa. Fry in a hot pan for about 6-7 minutes until it`s just done.
  3. Break the salmon into large pieces and mix with the dal.
  4. Serve with basmati rice and possibly naan bread.
