Ingredients

  • 500 g pork kidney (s), soaked several times
  • 2 onions)
  • 125 ml broth
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), (juice)
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 100 ml cream
  • Butter, for frying
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Remove all fat, veins, etc. from the kidneys and water them several times. Let it lie quietly in the water for a while.
  2. Then cut up the pure kidney meat, fry in butter with the diced onions and deglaze with the broth. Cook gently for about 10 minutes and then season with lemon juice, sugar / honey, pepper and salt. Mix Mondamin with water and stir into the sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, add the cream and chopped parsley and serve with mashed potatoes.
