Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Chicken and Beans

Stuffed cabbage or not stuffed cabbage. Probably, cabbage rolls without rice also have the right to be. The stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken, beans and cheese, baked in the oven, turned out to be quite tasty.

Ingredients

  • White cabbage, medium size – 1 head of cabbage
  • Boiled chicken fillet – 500 g
  • Beans in tomato sauce – 1 can (420 g)
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Tomato sauce (preferably spicy) – 300 ml
  • Oregano – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water, let it cool and take apart into fibers.
  2. Separate the cabbage leaves. Dip in boiling water and boil until soft. Remove from the pan, let cool.
  3. Put chicken fillet in a bowl, add canned beans.
  4. Sprinkle with pepper, oregano, paprika.
  5. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  6. Add half of the grated cheese to the chicken and beans. To stir thoroughly.
  7. Put a spoonful of chicken fillet, beans and cheese filling on a cabbage leaf.
  8. Wrap the filling in the cabbage leaf.
  9. Brush the bottom of a baking dish with tomato sauce.
  10. Place the stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken, beans and cheese in a baking dish, seam side down.
  11. Brush the cabbage rolls on top with tomato sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  12. Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Bake cabbage rolls in the oven for 20 minutes.
  13. Stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken, beans and cheese, no rice, ready.
