Three Milk Cake

Three milk cake (Tres Leches) – one of the most popular cakes among French housewives. The cake is quite simple, so it is perfect for making at home.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Butter – 10 Art. spoons
  • Eggs – 6 Pieces
  • Baking soda – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 Glass
  • Flour – 1 Glass
  • Milk – 1 Glass
  • Condensed milk – 1 Glass
  • Boiled condensed milk – 1 Glass
  • Fat Cream – 1/2 Cup
  • Strawberry – 250 Grams

Directions

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks, pour the whites into a bowl.
  2. Beat until soft peaks.
  3. Add yolks, beat slightly until frothy.
  4. Whisking slowly, gradually add sugar to the mixture. Leave some sugar for the cream.
  5. The mixture should thicken slightly.
  6. Fill the mixture with melted butter. Leave a little oil to grease the mold.
  7. Mix gently.
  8. Continuing to stir, in small portions we add flour, as well as salt and soda into the mixture. Pour the resulting dough into a greased baking dish and send it to the oven, preheated to 170 degrees, for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Meanwhile, whisk all three types of milk in a separate container.
  10. We take the finished cake out of the oven, prick it with a fork over the entire surface area.
  11. Pour milk over the cake slowly and evenly.
  12. Gradually, the cake will begin to absorb the liquid. We send the cooled cake to the refrigerator overnight.
  13. When you’re ready to serve the cake, prepare the cream. To do this, beat the heavy cream with sugar until the desired consistency is formed.
  14. Wash the strawberries and cut into small pieces.
  15. Slice our cake and serve with whipped cream and strawberries.
