Turkey Roll in the Oven

A turkey roll in the oven always turns out delicious, no matter what filling you put in it. Even with the most ordinary carrots, this roll will look very impressive and is suitable even for a festive table.

Servings: 3-4

Ingredients

  • Turkey fillet – 300 Grams
  • Carrots – 1 Piece
  • Salt – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Ground allspice – 1 Pinch
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need. To make a turkey roll, take a small piece of brisket (preferably chilled) if you managed to buy only frozen bird, then defrost it in advance at room temperature. Take a small, bright orange carrot so that the roll looks very appetizing in the cut.
  2. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
  3. Cut the fillet lengthwise into 3-4 thin layers and overlap on a cutting board.
  4. Season the poultry with salt and pepper, top with carrots and finely chopped garlic.
  5. Wrap the fillets in a roll and wrap tightly with thread.
  6. Wrap the roll with several layers of foil, send to bake in a hot oven for 25 minutes. Unroll the foil 15 minutes after starting to bake until the top of the roll is browned.
  7. Let the roll cool, cut it into pieces.
