Ingredients

  • 600 g turkey breast or pork
  • 1 large can apricot (s)
  • 1 tablespoon curry
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • oil
  • 1 onion (s)
  • possibly sauce thickener, light

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into small pieces and dice the onion. Drain the apricots and collect the juice. Cut the apricots 3 times each.
  2. Fry the onions in a pan until translucent, add the meat and fry with them. Season with salt and pepper. Scatter curry powder over the meat. Push the meat to the edge, put the sugar in the middle and let it caramelize a little. Add the apricots and pour in enough juice to just cover everything. Let it boil down for 10 minutes. Season everything again. If you like it very spicy, you can add more curry. If the sauce is too runny, thicken it with a little sauce thickener.
  3. This goes well with rice and salad. If you don`t make it so spicy, the dish is also good for children.
