Ingredients

  • 20 WanTan sheets
  • 100 g minced meat
  • 60 g shrimp (s), chopped
  • 0.5 ½ carrot (s), grated
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s), chopped
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, chopped
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg (s), whisked
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 20 piece (s) chives (approx. 7 - 9 cm long)

Instructions

  1. Lightly brown the garlic in a little oil and then add the onion and ginger and sauté briefly. Then add the minced meat and fry until it is cooked through and lightly browned. Then add the prawns, carrots and spring onions. Season with salt, pepper, soy sauce and sugar and continue to fry until the prawns are cooked through. Let cool a little and mix in the coriander.
  2. Put the chives in a bowl, pour hot water over them and blanch for a few seconds. This makes it easier to tie it around your pockets later.
  3. Fill the center of the wonton leaves with about a teaspoon of filling, brush the edges with the whisked egg, close, form small money bags and tie them up with the chives. Fry for approx. 4 - 5 min (at 170 ° C) until golden brown and, for example, Serve with sweet chilli sauce.
