Ingredients

  • 1 can kidney beans (40 g)
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • Cayenne pepper or Tabasco

Instructions

  1. Put the kidney beans with the liquid in a saucepan and bring to the boil briefly. Take the pan off the stove and puree the beans with the hand blender. After pureeing, the beans should have soaked up the liquid. If the whole thing is still too runny, just let it boil down a little. Season to taste with tomato paste, pepper, cayenne pepper and salt.
  2. You can also use Tabasco instead of the cayenne pepper. Then I would leave out the tomato paste. If you don`t like it spicy, you can leave out the cayenne pepper. Tastes very good with tortilla chips (cheese).
