Bell Pepper with Parmesan

One of the most successful ways to bake bell peppers in the oven. Tasty, healthy, simple, fast, exquisite, and suitable for different occasions. The combination of bell peppers, garlic, thyme, parmesan, and lemon is perfect!

Ingredients

  • Bulgarian pepper – 2-3 pcs.
  • Garlic – 4-5 cloves
  • Grated Parmesan cheese – 4-5 tbsp
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Thyme (dry or fresh)
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Wash bell peppers, cut and cut into large pieces. Cover the baking sheet with parchment or sprinkle with olive oil. We put the peppers in it with the skin down.
  2. Cut the garlic into slices and scatter over the peppers and between them. Salt and pepper, not forgetting that we will still have salted parmesan on top.
  3. Sprinkle with dry thyme, or put a few fresh sprigs on top. Sprinkle with olive oil on top.
    Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and put the bell pepper with garlic and thyme there for about 20 minutes (until softened). While the bell pepper is in the oven, rub the parmesan.
  4. We take out the baked peppers from the oven … and sprinkle them with cheese.
    We send the bell peppers with cheese back to the oven (under the grill or just under the upper heating element) until the cheese is browned.
  5. Sprinkle the finished baked bell pepper with Parmesan with lemon juice and serve.
