Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon basil, finely chopped
  • 200 g chestnut (s), peeled and weihed
  • 200 g oat cream cheese or normal cream cheese
  • Olive oil or peanut oil
  • 1 lemon (s), grated zest (organic!)
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Score the chestnuts crosswise and roast them in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes until the shell opens slightly. Put a saucepan with water in the oven so that the chestnuts don`t dry out. Now peel off the peel and the bitter skin underneath with your fingers.
  2. Put the herbs, cream cheese and chestnuts in a tall container and use the hand blender to make a smooth paste. Stir in the oil and the grated lemon zest. Season to taste with balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
