Cottage Cheese and Sour Cream Dessert with Orange and Cornflakes

Curd-sour cream jelly with layers of orange and cornflakes will delight many lovers of light and delicate desserts. Dessert is prepared very quickly, except for the time for solidification.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese 9% fat – 350 g
  • Orange – 300 g (1 pc.)
  • Sour cream 20% fat – 150 g
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Corn flakes – 60 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g
  • Gelatin – 20 g
  • Mandarin for serving (optional) – 1-2 pcs.
  • Water – 60 ml

Directions

  1. Pour gelatin into a bowl and cover with cold boiled water. Leave the gelatin to swell for 40 minutes.
  2. Cut the peel from the orange along with the white part. Disassemble the orange into slices, remove the white films. Cut the orange pulp into small pieces.
  3. Put cottage cheese in a bowl and add sugar.
  4. Add sour cream to a bowl of cottage cheese and sugar.
  5. Punch everything well with a blender until smooth.
  6. Dissolve the gelatin in any way convenient for you. I did it in a water bath. You can also use the microwave and melt the gelatin at minimum power in pulses for a few seconds. Add 1 tablespoon to the gelatin. a spoon of curd mass and mix.
  7. Pour the gelatinous mass into a bowl with the curd mass and beat with a blender until smooth.
  8. Pour 1/4 of the curd mass into a glass container (diameter of my container – 16 cm, height – 8 cm). Top with half the sliced ​​orange.
  9. Pour another 1/4 part of the curd mass on top of the layer of oranges and add 20 g of cornflakes.
  10. Pour another 1/4 of the curd into the flakes and add the remaining orange slices.
  11. Place the remaining curd mass on top and flatten.
  12. Sprinkle 20 g cornflakes on top.
  13. Cover the top of the dessert with cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours. If you leave the dessert for more than 3 hours, be aware that the cereal will get wet and lose its crunch.
  14. Dip the dish in hot water for a few seconds so that the dessert comes off the walls. Flip the dish over. The curd dessert should come out easily.
  15. Garnish the curd dessert with the remaining cornflakes.
