  • 280 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 80 g butter
  • 130 g suar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 170 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla concentrate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Cut the dates into small pieces. Mix the water with the baking soda in a saucepan until the baking soda is dissolved. Then pour the liquid over the dates and bring to a boil. Take off the stove.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until frothy, stir in the eggs one by one. Carefully fold in the flour in portions. Then add the dates with the liquid, stir in the vanilla.
  3. Put the dough in a springform pan (24 cm) and bake for about 30 minutes. A vanilla or caramel sauce tastes wonderful with it!
