Ingredients
- 40 g butter or mararine
- 500 g mutton, cut into small pieces
- 3 onion (s), diced
- some salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 kg white cabbage, cut into small pieces
- 500 g potato (s), cut into small pieces
- 250 ml water

- Heat the fat, add the diced meat and brown lightly while turning. Then add the onions and heat them briefly. Now season the meat with salt and pepper, add the cabbage, potatoes and caraway seeds and fill up with water.
- Without stirring everything, close the pot with a lid and heat on the highest level until steam escapes. Then cook on a low heat for about 90 minutes and turn off the stove 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
- Do not lift the lid or stir the contents at all times. When the dish is done, mix everything together and season to taste.
