Ingredients

  • 1 bunch soup greens
  • 1 white cabbage, (approx. kg)
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable stock, (instant)
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 6 smoked pork neck steaks (approx. 180 g each)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut the soup greens into small cubes. Cut the white cabbage into strips. Finely dice the onions. Peel the potato and cut into large pieces.
  2. Mix the prepared ingredients and bay leaves in the large roasting pan with a lid.
  3. Boil approx. 1 3/4 liters of water. Dissolve the broth in it, season well with pepper and possibly salt. Pour over the vegetables. Place Kassel slices on top. Put the lid on and stew in the preheated oven (electric stove 175 ° C / convection 150 ° C, gas: level 2) for about 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Finely chop the parsley. Remove the lid from the roasting pan, grill the farmer`s stew under the grill of the oven for 5-7 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with parsley.
