Kimchi Soup

A famous Korean dish is kimchi soup. Such a soup is prepared quickly. To make kimchi soup, it is important to have the necessary ingredients; now you can buy them in almost any chain supermarket. This soup is definitely worth trying. We are sure that the bright and memorable taste will be a discovery for admirers of Asian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Tofu cheese – 500 g
  • Dark soy miso paste – 120 g
  • Kimchi sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Dry wakame seaweed – 5 g
  • Granulated fish broth – 1 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Soy sauce – 3 tbsp
  • Water – 2 l
    For filing:
  • Green onions – 20 g
  • Sesame seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Hot red pepper – to taste

Description

  1. Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the soy paste, stir and cook for 1 minute over medium heat to dissolve the paste.
  2. Add dry fish broth and kimchi sauce. Mix. Cook for 1 minute over low heat.
  3. Stir the eggs with a fork and pour into the broth in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
  4. Add soy sauce.
  5. Cut the tofu into cubes and put in the broth.
  6. Add seaweed to the soup and cook for 1 minute over low heat.
  7. Turn off the heat and let the soup sit for 5 minutes.
  8. Pour the kimchi soup into portioned bowls and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Add hot peppers, cut into rings, to taste, and you can serve the soup to the table.
