Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 90 g butter, cold
  • 1 pinch (s) salt or
  • 1 packet puff pastry

For covering:

  • 200 g ham
  • 200 g cheese, rated (Emmentaler)
  • 3 medium egg (s), separated
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the egg. Spread the butter in pieces on top and knead everything well with the salt. Alternatively, use a ready-made puff pastry! Line a springform pan with the batter.
  2. Cut the ham into cubes and spread on the dough. Mix the cheese, egg yolk and flour in a bowl. Add the sour cream, salt and nutmeg and mix everything well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture on the ham and bake the flan at 200 ° C in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with the salad!
