Meat Sauce with Mushrooms and Leek

Beef stew in tomato sauce with mushrooms and vegetables, for any side dish.

Ingredients

  • Beef – 600 g
  • Champignons – 150 g
  • Leeks – 1 pc.
  • Petiole celery – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Chili pepper (optional) – 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste – 70-100 g
  • Vegetable oil – 30-50 ml
  • Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs.
  • Fresh parsley – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the beef into large cubes and fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown, transfer to a plate.
  2. Without cooling the pan, put the chopped mushrooms, fry for a couple of minutes, and also remove from the pan.
  3. Cut the leeks into rings, carrots, and garlic into cubes, chop the celery. Put the vegetables in a frying pan, add vegetable oil if necessary, fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chopped tomato and chili pepper to the fried vegetables.
  5. We return the meat with mushrooms to the pan.
  6. Fill the meat with mushrooms and vegetables with 2/3 water, add tomato paste, salt, and pepper to taste, add the bay leaf. We mix. Bring to a boil, reduce the temperature and simmer the beef in tomato sauce with mushrooms and vegetables, covered for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Beef stew with leek and mushrooms is ready. Decorate with fresh herbs and serve.
