Pasta Casserole with Pumpkin and Apple

Pasta baked with pumpkin and apple in a delicate sweet sauce is a great option for a hearty breakfast or dinner for pumpkin lovers.

Ingredients

  • Curly pasta – 80 g
  • Pumpkin – 150 g
  • Apple – 1 pc.
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Spice mixture – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – ½ tbsp

Directions

  1. We start by making pasta. Pour 1 liter of water into a saucepan, add ½ tablespoon. tablespoons of salt put on heat.
  2. Dip the pasta in boiling water and boil until tender, according to the instructions on the package. During cooking, stir the pasta periodically so that they do not stick together. I cooked pasta for 10 minutes.
  3. Throw the cooked pasta in a colander, shake it, let the excess liquid drain. Then transfer to a bowl. Rub the pumpkin on a medium grater. Cut the apple (without core) into small slices or grate on a coarse grater. Combine boiled pasta, apple slices, and grated pumpkin.
  4. Add a mixture of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, cardamom, green coriander, anise, cloves, allspice).
  5. Beat eggs with milk and sugar. Vanilla can be added if desired. Pour the beaten eggs with milk into the pumpkin and apple pasta. Lubricate a refractory baking dish with vegetable oil.
  6. We spread the pasta with pumpkin and apple in an egg-milk sauce in a baking dish. Cover the pasta dish with foil on top and put in an oven preheated to 190 ° C for 20 minutes. Then we open the foil, bake in the oven for another 8 minutes without foil.
  7. Baked pasta with pumpkin and apple are ready. Serve the pasta casserole with pumpkin and apple hot with sour cream, jam, or honey.
