Ingredients
- 1 kg pointed cabbage, cut into eighths, stalk and coarse ribs removed, cut into wider strips
- 50 g butter
- 1 medium onion (s), diced
- 125 ml water, hot
- a bit salt
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water, cold, to stir
- Nutmeg, grated

- Heat the butter. Braise the onion in it. Add the cabbage and heat briefly while stirring. Add the hot water and salt and cover and cook over a low heat for approx. 30 - 40 minutes.
- Then thicken the cabbage with mixed cornstarch and season with salt and nutmeg.
