Puffs with Chocolate

From ready-made puff yeast dough, you can make delicious puffs with chocolate and orange peel. The puffs according to this recipe are not only incredibly tasty, but also very beautiful. Your guests will love it!

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 0.5 kg
  • Chocolate – 1 bar
  • Egg
  • Orange zest (or nuts, raisins, etc.)
  • Sesame

Directions

  1. To make chocolate puffs, prepare the ingredients. I used ready-made dough, but you can make it yourself.
  2. Put a whole bar of chocolate on a puff pastry layer in the center.
  3. My oranges. Rub the orange peel on a fine grater.
  4. Separate the yolk from the protein and beat.
  5. From the edges of the chocolate on both sides with a knife we ​​outline oblique strips, 1 cm wide.Then we cut it with an ordinary knife or a pizza knife. Cut off the upper side of the dough (see video recipe).
  6. Sprinkle with zest on top. We wrap the dough top and bottom.
  7. We intertwine the strips obliquely so that the whole chocolate bar is covered with dough.
  8. Press on the sides with your fingers.
  9. Cut off excess dough.
  10. Lubricate the chocolate puffs with yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. We bake puffs with chocolate in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  12. The puff with chocolate and orange zest is ready.
