Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry round and line a springform pan (18 cm diameter) lined with baking paper. Pull up a small edge. Pierce a few times and refrigerate.
  2. Whisk eggs with milk, spices and parsley. Grate the cheese and spread it on the dough with the ham, pour the egg milk over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for 30 - 40 minutes, cover with aluminum foil if necessary.
  3. Garnish with fresh spring onions and serve while warm.
  4. Personally, I like this - not true to original - variation with puff pastry much better.
  5. About 450 - 500 Kcal per serving.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
