Quick Donuts with Garlic Sauce

Yeast baking, as a rule, takes a lot of time, but these donuts cook very quickly and turn out to be tender and airy.

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Flour – 350-400 g
  • Water (warm) – 230 g
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh pressed yeast – 15 g
  • or dry yeast – 8 g
  • Sugar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp

For lubrication:

  • Water – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon (no slide)

For the garlic sauce:

  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Water – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Mash fresh yeast and sugar with a spoon until a liquid mass is obtained (if you will use dry yeast, skip this step).
  2. Sift 3/4 of the flour into a bowl, add salt. Make a hole in the center and pour in warm (temperature should not be higher than 40 ° C) water, vegetable oil, honey, and yeast mixture. Knead the dough. Add flour as needed. Knead the dough on a work surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into approximately equal portions of the desired size. Shape them into balls and place them in a baking dish (I used a 25 cm pan). Cover the donuts with a towel and let them rest for 5-10 minutes, and in the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 ° C. After the right time, send the form with donuts into the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare sweet water for lubrication: combine sugar and water in a small container. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  5. After 10 minutes, remove the donuts from the oven and grease them with sweet water (this way they will blush better). Return the donuts to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes (baking time depends on the size of the donuts).
  6. Prepare garlic sauce: combine chopped garlic, vegetable oil, water, and a pinch of salt. Mix. Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool down. Delicious and tender quick donuts with garlic sauce are ready.
  7. Before serving, you can sprinkle them with garlic sauce, or you can serve the sauce separately so that guests themselves dip donuts in it.
