Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 2 packs dry yeast
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), grated zest it

For the filling:

  • 6 tablespoon butter, liquid
  • 8 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • jam

For painting:

  • 150 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with yeast and add the other ingredients for the dough, knead everything well to form a dough. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 50 g pieces (20 pieces). Roll out each piece to a length of 20 cm and a width of approx. 4 cm. Brush each strip with butter, sprinkle sugar on top and put some jam in the middle. Fold the strips of dough together lengthways and roll up from the narrow sides.
  3. Melt the butter, pour 4 tablespoons into a springform pan (26 cm) and put the tube noodles in, then cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Drizzle the remaining butter over the pasta, sprinkle with sugar and bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes.
