Ingredients

  • 400 g marzipan
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 250 ml flour
  • 5 ml baking powder
  • 125 ml sugar, dark
  • 2 tablespoon speculoos spice (equal parts: cinnamon and cloves)
  • salt
  • 175 g butter, cold
  • 25 g almond (s), halved
  • 2 Table spoons milk
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 175 ° C.
  2. Mix the marzipan and egg well. Mix the flour, sugar, spices and salt as well, cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the flour. Knead a dough quickly. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Halve the dough and flatten it twice with a rolling pin. Place part of the batter on a baking sheet and make small holes with a fork. Place the marzipan on top and the other part of the dough on top. Squeeze. Sprinkle half the almonds on top and drizzle a little milk on top.
  3. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 35 minutes. VERY DELICIOUS !!!
