Stewed Potatoes with Chicken in Cheese Sauce

Stewed potatoes with chicken in cheese sauce is a great dish for a family meal. Stewed potatoes according to this recipe turn out to be the most tender, and chicken meat is very juicy, and all this under a fragrant cheese sauce. Try to cook!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 900 g (6-7 pcs.)
  • Chicken fillet – 400 g
  • Processed cheese – 200 g
  • Carrots – 80 g (1 pc.)
  • Onions – 80 g (1 pc.)
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Dried basil – 1 pinch
  • Ground paprika – 1 pinch
  • Ground pepper mixture – 1 pinch
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs.
  • Allspice peas – 3-4 pcs.
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare products for cooking stewed potatoes with chicken in cheese sauce. We also need warm water (500 ml).
  2. Peel potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic.
  3. Finely chop the onion.
  4. Three carrots on a coarse grater.
  5. In a cauldron in vegetable oil, fry the onions and carrots for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add mayonnaise, mix, and heat for 1 minute.
  7. Pour the onion and carrot with water and bring to a boil.
  8. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.
  9. Squeeze the garlic through a press.
  10. Put cheese, garlic, bay leaf, allspice in the cauldron, and salt a little. Cook until the cheese is completely dissolved.
  11. Cut the potatoes into cubes.
  12. Cut the chicken meat into small pieces.
  13. When the cheese is completely dissolved, add the potatoes and chicken. Add basil, paprika, and pepper mixture.
  14. Mix and simmer the potatoes and chicken for 15 minutes without a lid. Then cover with a lid and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
  15. Serve potatoes stewed with chicken, vegetables, and herbs.
