Stewed Potatoes with Meat.

Potatoes with meat, stewed with onions and carrots is the most popular and most popular dish that can be tasty and satisfying to feed both the family and guests.

Cook: 1 hour
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Ribs meat – 500 g
  • Potatoes – 1 kg
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1-2 pcs.
  • Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs. (taste)
  • Pepper – 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Wash ribs, cut into portions, salt and pepper. Melt the butter in a thick-walled pan or cauldron. Lay out the ribs. Fry the ribs in oil over medium heat until tender, turning occasionally (about 20-25 minutes).
  2. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, wash if necessary, cut into pieces. Peel and wash onions and carrots. Dice the onion. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into thin strips. Pour the peeled and cut potatoes into parts with water and cook. Cook until tender over medium heat (about 20 minutes).
  3. When the meat is done, remove it from the pan. Fry finely chopped onions and carrots in the same fat. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Put boiled potatoes in a cauldron (or frying pan) with vegetables, add meat, salt, bay leaf pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stewed potatoes with meat are ready.
